The film participated in the Festival Icarón (Guatemala), Lakino Festival (Berlin) and Corto Circuito Film Festival (New York).

In Hungary Socialism lasted for 40 years. In Cuba the revolution has been on for 56 years. Somehow three Hungarian ladies, Iren, Agnes and Zsuzsa have been living under the Communist regime for more than 70 years. What do they think about the changes of today’s Cuba? Although life has never been easy in Cuba, since the fall of the Soviet block it has been even harder. Since 2012 there have been reforms and a new way of opening. Our film examines these changes through the eyes of the Hungarian diaspora living in the Island.

    Duration: 75 min.

Spanyol nyelven, magyar és angol felirattal. / In Spanish with English and Hungarian subtiitles.

A magical documentary about two charismatic dogs, Chola and Football, who live in a skate park in Santiago, Chile. The park brings together teenagers from all different social and cultural backgrounds. LOS REYES shows us their world — the human world — from Chola and Football’s perspective. We hear stories of adolescence, of loves and romances, of school, and the pains of growing up. Hailed as “a doggone low-key crowdpleaser” (Hollywood Reporter) and “a beautiful film… that immerses us in a sense of life lived at the languid pace of an afternoon daydream” (The New York Times), LOS REYES is one of the most charming and original documentaries you’ll ever see.
